I knew someone who won ten grand but the state took most of it for past parking tickets when the winner claimed the prize. Make sure you have no outstanding debt!

I wonder, but how many of the tickets did you buy till you won something big like this.

Best advice is to not waste it. Easy come, easy go. I was given £500 a couple of months ago, it lasted a day and I've regretted my purchases ever since :s

Nice. If you have any debts, I'd probably put it towards that.
I won $500 from $5 tickets twice. Did it once, then did it again a couple of months later. I used them to pay off my credit card (owed about $1200 on it at the time I won that first ticket).
