So Annoyed at the result. Time to move out of the UK. Prospects of Borris and Farage are upsetting.

BTW these are dream news for Germany:

Less competition for exports (UK will have to pay tax to export in EU from now and on making products less competitive) plus if Euro falls, German products become cheaper thus more competitive in international markets. Its a fucking win for them

I grew up on the border through the troubles and no one wants to return to those days. Being stopped at the border and a gun shoved in your face for no reason was just not fun.

With the oil currently being poor and having to pay their own membership fees I think Scotland would struggle. england is their no.1 market then the EU. But if the EU back them up financially they would be fine. I do think the Scottish politicians are much better than the rest of the UK. SNP seem good imo.
Jimmy Deenihan disagrees, the only thing I have seen saying Eire could afford it is a Sinn Fein funded report.

Maybe now the EU will reform itself. If it doesn't then it will fall apart completely and there is nobody else to blame but fat cats in Brussels.

Europeans do not want a European state, they do not want unlimited migration and they do not want to bail out every poor country.

    Brexit was inevitable.

The long term prospects for EU are more devastating than the short term. Greece was a wake up call for UK, and it was inavoidable that because of Greece falling into absoleute austarity, that UK would decide by volition to be smart about this and leave a sinking ship before it hits an iceberg.

EU will crumble now, within the next 5-10 years at most, there will be many referendums mostly because smaller states wont be able to survive in the EU's economy. This will actually benefit UK as it means trading with multiple independant partners, as opposed to trade with one market.

Basically, UK just played an ironic winning hand, at first it will hit us hard, but when the fire settles, it will be EU's turn to take the blow and it will be far worse for EU than UK, since UK is one of the EU's leading financial backers (though far from its most financially powerful one admittingly).

Basically, the EU was built on the foundation of a principle of united states of europe, it was a nice fantasy, but the EU wanted a dictatorship ruled by one government using one economy having one military with one law.

Now that dream can never be a reality, and it will devastate the way the EU behaves towards future candidates, plus, it will force them to remain in negociation with UK for the very reason that if they choose to penalise it, then future factions trying to join the EU, E.g. Turkey, will leave and go independant next.

EU's death throes have began, the failling unity has finally shown its true colours.

By the next 10 years, the EU will collapse completely, its single market was its own failing.

RIP UK. Scotland will hold another referendum soon and leave, this is by far the stupidest thing the UK has done recently.
RIP Union Jack, new addition to the museum.

    Why not?

You are for mass migration and a European socialist state, doesn't get more leftwing than that.

I don't think you understand what the European Union is. We weren't invaded or anything, it's an organisation the UK willingly joined and benefited from.

The meltdown in the markets is pretty seismic.

An outside chance I'm sure but I think many are concerned about a run on the pound. While no one is in charge of the country.

I've met many posh people. Most of them never fucked anything that was dead or non-human, unless you count some of the horsey-toothed girls at pony club camp.

Here people believed the UK wouldn't be such idiots and break the world economy. Right now everyone is selling selling and selling, specially sterling stocks.

We believed in the UK being smart, we were wrong and we are paying for it now.
