Diablo 3 lack of content release... oh wait, WoW too..

Anyway, in 2016, I'd not pay to play WoW, thanks to tokens I guess.

If you got decent gear, the loot hunt is lost because upgrades are really rare... so you can climb the ladder which is dominated by streamers because they get paid to play. So you don't have a chance of getting anywhere near the top.
So what's left? Doing the Challenge for cosmetics which can be done in 2 weeks. So yes Diablo has so little content that they depend on the seasons otherwise there would be like 50k players left, if they even have that many.
They are a scaling up, much like how Mythic Plus in WoW is not "new" if you raise the level of it.
In WoW there are lots of complaints about there being nothing left to do, which means in the vast majority of cases something very different.
It means they have completed all that is currently relevant or interesting to them, discounting anything unappealing often as non-content.

Reading a post where "Diablo 3" and "good game" are put in the same sentence is laughable.

Diablo 3 is a mockery in comparison to Diablo 2, sadly.

That being said, Diablo 3 still gets an influx of activity every patch or new season... but that lasts for days, a week at most, and interest completely fades after it.

A subscription on Diablo 3 is unthinkable... and even if they're porting a lot of its features to WoW, an ARPG and a 12year old MMO are nothing alike for pricing reasons.

    Xanzul:

We have always had an element of RNG in WoW, but it wasnt until WoD that the "stats" became randomised on late end gear, as most of the gear was generally focused on specific values for specific class builds.

So no, we didnt really get that until WoD, and honestly RnG is not something WoW needs.

If less than the current WoW subscriber number then why does Blizzard insist on turning WoW into Diablo 3 with all the RNG stats, RNG legendaries, ability pruning and so on?
i rarely play it now. if I had to pay a seperate subscription fee that rarety would go to zero.
There is no Bad RNG just Bad LTP
