So working on some algebra homework and we're working on complex numbers. I got to a problem that I'm not sure where to start with. The problem is as follows.
3i(2-i)^2
So my question is do I start by distributing the 3i or do I foil out the (2-i)^2 first?

You can think of it as 3 times i times ( (2-i) times (2-i) ). So calculate the expression in the brackets first, then multiply by i, then by 3.
