Best rogue spec for Herald of the Titans

I've decided to start farming some gear to get HotT achiev as a rogue . What spec is the best for that purpose? And what gems should I use?

I prefer assassination for old content. Since I went sub and have combat as an offspec, I miss assassination for running these old dungeons. I might just delete combat and turn it into assassination.

Just remember that armor must be 226 ilvl or less and weapons can't be higher than 232.

You can use Mists of Panderia enchants, and cataclysm leg enchants on that gear to give a little boost as well.

Honestly, the gear probably doesn't matter too muchas long as you meet the ilvl requirements, because the item squish really made it easier even at the proper level.

I'm not sure anyone will have a real answer to the spec question. Herald is incredibly easy at this point, so you can play whatever you want. If you really want to optimize, you'll probably have to do the testing yourself.
