Overwatch's new hero 'Sombra'. Give us some info about her.

The new Overwatch hero 'Sombra'. i have heard some little hints about her from you tube, but i am still wondering when she will be released and what abilities will she have?
Post us some info about what she might be like.

I know she will be a support sniper, and she is Pharah's mother, but is there anything else we should know?

Let's get this cleared up: there has been absolutely no confirmation from Blizzard Entertainment - via tweets, blue posts, Youtube videos, interviews, or otherwise - that Sombra will be arriving in Overwatch as a playable hero.

What we have seen so far, are recurring background elements in the Overwatch levels that have built her up as one of OW's two strongest background characters (the other being Doomfist). There has been wild mass guessing as to her importance in the narrative, and therefore, potential as a new hero.

So far, the reason why people think she could be an upcoming playable hero is that 1. she is one of the few Overwatch characters who have a name, a unique design, and an apparent mission who have not yet been designated as a playable hero, and 2. she can be one of Overwatch's missing moms/wives that were mentioned in the lore, and has plausible reason to fight.

Would make a lot of sense if she comes into the game, as the game lack both snipers and support heroes.

Though I hope they really spend time on new heroes. Rather 0 new heroes then many poorly made ones.

Actually yes, in the Titan documentary there was a shot of Sombra on the Overwatch character select page in game. She was listed in the support section. See the above video for details.

That shot had the exact same model, pose and weapon that Widowmaker does.

they did hint that they were actually excited/happy that people were actually talking about sombra and what she was meant to be in overwatch.
