Hi
This is our anthem.
.
"This will be a fight against overwhelming odds from which survival cannot be expected. We will do what damage we can."
-- Capt. Copeland
It's like going to the kid who got a participation award and then showing him your 1st place trophy. Pretty tasteless.
Well let's be honest. They're mocking the LGBT pride movement. It's not sincere.
Eat yo vegetables
Cant have a day to celebrate your self apparently.

"Everyday is heterosexual pride day" comment.
Nothing wrong with being proud of yourself, according to the other side of the coin.
You're not to think you are anything special. You're not to think you are as good as we are. You're not to think you are smarter than we are. You're not to convince yourself that you are better than we are. You're not to think you know more than we do. You're not to think you are more important than we are. You're not to think you are good at anything. You're not to laugh at us. You're not to think anyone cares about you. You're not to think you can teach us anything.
Celebrating it is almost as silly as being pissed that someone who is celebrating it
Good for hetero folks, about time they got some attention.

#daywithoutanypridedayday
anyway, who made it up?
"The pen is mightier than the sword.. and considerably easier to write with."
We don't have a parade to express our joy being ourselves. We have a parade to express our right to exist. We're told regularly that we should die, that we're abominations, that we're going to hell, that we're mentally damaged, and there are a host of countries where it is illegal for us to exist. Name one place where it is illegal for a heterosexual to be themselves? Yeah, now I hope you get it.
I don't know..."I love vaginas" doesn't really have the same ring as "I love cocks!"
Well, there's that.
I'm split on this. On one hand, Orlando shooting is recent. People died because they were gay. To me, even though we aren't where we were before, it's still not widely accepted.
On the other hand, if I was heterosexual, no doubt I'd be tired of this. Celebrating a sexual orientation should not be a thing. What's the difference between a homosexual and a heterosexual? Only the gender of the person you love relative to yours. It's quite a bit stupid to give so much attention on something so unimportant.
But ultimately, I cannot condone the #HeterosexualPrideDay the way it is being used. It is being used as a way to ridiculize something that isn't ridiculous. You can come and say you think Pride day is over the top and I would agree. But to use a Heterosexual day during pride month is borderline homophobia. I'm sure the people behind this aren't homophobes though, just tired of hearing "Pride Month!" "Pride Day!" "Pride This!".
Sadly for everyone involved, some places even in the United States does not allow people to love who they love. As much as I'd love to say we don't have to yell it on every roof tops, as much as I hate to say we're not there yet.
And this.

[...] we have an intolerance for ideas and evidence that don’t fit a certain ideology. I’m also not saying that we should restrict people to certain gender roles; I’m advocating for quite the opposite: treat people as individuals, not as just another member of their group (tribalism)..
