ok im confused now, i went to DS and ye i didn't get proc on every pull but when i do pulls on garrison dummy i get it every time...

It seems to be acting funny it will proc on pull for normal things but for raid bosses it doesn't.

Bear in mind that when that happens there is no more multistrike and Malicious Censer's main stat is converted to critical strike, which is not ideal for sub. Might be worth considering other options - I'm using Thundertower's Targeting Reticle which is agility and versatility.

I think the agi proc will make up for it. Crit isn't bad by any means - sub works well with all 4 stats, mastery/versa are just ahead of crit and haste.

u wont use censer u will use the heirloom trinket whenever u can, that thing is insane and has high uptime( think its around 70-80%) while also doing around 4-6% of ur dmg. Its agility hasnt been nerfed either so its closer to other trinkets in terms of stats too

I've spent a couple hours in front of the dummies with Sub and Assassination, still not sure what will win in Legion : HFC Mythics with ring/soulkappa on pull.

on short fights sub pulls ahead actually but they're rly close to each other and the longer the fight goes the closer they get to each other with assa slightly on top.
But on longer fights outlaw actually shits on both, funny enough.

I think i'll go assa for ST and try outlaw on AoE and adjust from there, exsanguinate burst can be good with ring. I'm probably going to gems versa, crit probably lose value with the class trinket, i really don't know about second trinket.... blademaster, cencer or BoA. Soul cap is just shit now... Also, did they nerf Brf trinket ? cause blackhand trinket might be good as all hfc trinket were nerfed...

Soul Cap is not shit. It got buffed on beta/ptr. It's proc is just as good as live.

Okay, I have gone through pages of people throwing their opinion about their new spells looking odd or clunky or just pure opinions of hundreds of pages in Ass/Sub threads rather than numbers and discussion towards the actual spec so I wanted to ask in a new thread about this coming Tuesday.

What SPEC/Talent will YOU be playing on pre-patch week for the nerfed M:HFC clear? Also what secondary stats will you stack, i.e. will you still stack crit as Assassination with M:WF class trinket?

I personally am leaning towards Sub if the fights are short since I find Sub burst to be the strongest with class trinket and ring and the current tier bonuses. I am getting bigger opener with it than Ass.

Also, anybody know the correct talent choice for Sub for M:HFC come Tues and opener sequence. There's a lot of dmg increase buffs with ring/2p/talent choices/sDance

Yea the unpredictability of the on-the-pull proc and our class trinket nerf, as well as our burst being spread much more all add up to soulcap's value being waaaaaay down.

Confirmed with testing, the heirloom does around 6% more sustained DPS than Censer (725).

Just curious, but for assassination is it a gain to switch gems and enchants from mastery to crit? Much of the testing I've seen at 110 would say yes, but I don't know if that applies at 100 with the prepatch set piece bonus and class trink.

waaaaay ahead unless you're running agonizing poisons, but even then it's a close call

with exsang versa has more value than haste and mastery combined :P
