    Help me find this game

Recently, I've been trying to recall the name of an older game. It was a 2d shooter 10+ years old for pc. Made by an indie company. It was rated M and gameplay involved you spawning on a map and killing hordes and hordes of zombies and aliens. As you leveled up on each map you would gain perks mid match to alter and improve yourself. Weapons would also drop as well as powerups. There were about 60 levels and the game even had a typing mode where you could kill monsters by typing words fast enough.

I assume you aren't talking about Typing of the Dead?

No the typing feature was just an extra game mode.

That game sounds hella familar. Sorry I can't be much use of trying to think of the name though. I'll question around my gamer group if anyone remembers the name.

Do you mean "Crimsonland"? Didn't play it myself but it fits the description.

This is the game of the gods!

The depth it has is amazing
The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts.
