You mean the death of tactics in dungeons? The 13 months content drought? The ultra boring set designs and lazy trial of the crusader "raid"? Or the lack of variation? Or the way the butchered Nax40 into a welfare epic raids with no difficulty at all? BC had many problems, but WotlK was not "factual superior". It was the start of the casual raiding and heroic dungeon format and the first expansion where subs stopped climbing. Yes, the story was great since it was the climax of the warcraft 3 and vanilla story arc, but that alone does not make an expansion superior. WotlK had great things, Ulduar was just awesome, but it also had many flaws and some where even the beginning of something we see now full blown in WoD.

I suspect the Pre-Patch will hit mid-July, then a week before the expansion launches, we'll get access to our Demon Hunters. The pre-patch and Demon Hunter release are two separate things, they're not connected.

There're DH specific rewards in the invasion event. For it to be fair, DHs have to be released at the same time the event hits. That's also when the Illidari faction joins the Horde/Alliance.

They've already confirmed DH will come a couple of weeks after the prepatch hits.

Just because NPC demon hunters show up does not guarantee in the slightest that DHs will be available to play.
They might have not allowed early-access to the DH class at all and the pre-event would still be the same.

DH early access is driven by marketing among other things, and the marketing people don't particularly care if it makes "more sense" to have them be available at the same time as the pre-event starts.

Well, do you know what's sure? The demon invasions and the farming of shards starts after the Broken Shore event. We also know there're exclusive DH items in it as reward.

In order to make it fair, everyone should have the same time to farm. Is common sense to allow the early access to begin at that point.

Marketing doesn't care about fair or common sense, though. Have you ever met such people?
You can still farm the majority of things with other characters, as much of that is account wide, and only farm the specific ones in the last week with a DH.

That's not how it works. In fact, if Blizzard said you could play with DH now, a lot more people would've preordered just to play one before Legion.

People really need to get their timelines down. Every non-dh class assaults the broken shore with the forces of alliance/horde and their leaders. Khadgar is absent during this assault because at the same time it is going on he is going to the vault to collect the DH's. BS and DH scenarios (second half of the DH anyway) happen at the same time.

After all this the legion shows that it has infiltrated everything and the invasions begin. Timeline wise BS and DH stuff happens and then the Invasions.

Though in the Dev interview (Jun 10, 2016) they said Prepatch would bring system changes and then Broken Shore, Demon Hunters, and Invasions a couple of weeks later. They are probably planning to unlock all that at the same time.
