Very surprised this doesn't fall into "way too stupid not to be punished" category. I think he said 8 top secret emails were exchanged on a server with minimal security. Just gross incompetence.

"I am above the law" is a real thing, unfortunately.

And here come all the "her not getting charged proves she's guilty!" folk out of the woodwork.

Either way this will be extremely damaging to her campaign. It was at least clearly disclosed that numerous classified and top secret files were grossly mishandled, and that it is very well possible foreign adversaries could have gained access to them. She will be torn apart for this. No wonder why the media is all over trump for posting A JEWISH STAR OF DAVID OY VEY! She's done.

Well if you listened to the press conference, he did say that it is a crime to irresponsibly handle classified information, and she did move classified information through non-secure servers.

"She committed a crime and we can prove this, but we're not going to press charges because she has a presidential campaign to win."

It's almost as if the government really is as corrupt as Trump insists.

They list everything she did wrong like she was about to go to jail forever, like all the top secret emails and then say how they were 100% accessed, and she was using the server in countries that do not like us.

Then end it by saying no recommendation for indictment.

I just hope though all of this, no government official uses a private email ever again. That's what pissed me off the most, it's dangerous for national security.

Who exactly is going to tear her apart? The media has been harsher on Trump over retweets than they have been on this issue. They constantly run with the narrative that Trump doesn't have the 'temperment' to be president, yet what does this reckless handling of classified information say about Clinton's temperment? Oh yeah, we will *never* hear that narrative, instead we get made up controversies over shapes appearing in tweets.

Yeah his basic reasoning for no charges was that the amount of top secret stuff didn't match the amounts that were negligently sent in prior prosecuted cases, which is a bullshit reason. Just one email has the potential to risk American lives and should be enough to prosecute, it shouldn't be "well it was only 1 email that killed these 3 American spies, so this is no big deal..." Give me a break.

Don't worry, we'll do the same over here in the UK with the Chilcot report, Tony Blair won't have to deal with any embarrassments like war crimes or lying to Parliament

They couldn't prove intent and they didn't think that the case would be strong enough for a prosecutor to go for.

I am not surprised, but I had a brain fart listening to him talk about how the e-mail chains had top secret information classified as top secret at the time they were sent, mention that what Clinton and her people did was grossly negligent and then not recommend they pursue charges when he stated himself that such negligence can get you a criminal charge.

Frankly I think the FBI was just washing its hands here, they were afraid of recommending charges and then having Clinton get dragged in a trial, get destroyed until said trial is done by Trump in the general election and then found innocent.

Not only that, but Comey very clearly stated that if it had been someone else that did the things she did, said person would be facing charges.

He literally says that she's too big for jail. And people say Oligarchs don't exist in America. Complete horseshit.

Careful now, accusations against the Politburo result in people getting put up against walls.

    she will walk free

the fact that she is not in chains right know means fbi is on damage control and easing into the situation to the general public.

She will win, and become the most criminal and corrupt president the USA has ever seen, not saying to vote trump or bernie, but fact still stands.
