What's your biggest video game goof.

Buying Alien Colonial Marines for about £40 or £50 from Blockbusters (yeah, back when they were a thing), thinking it would be good. I've only done about 4 missions and roughly an hours worth of multiplayer.

I bought the CE. Granted, the statue was fucking worth it. The game was just padding for the statue as far as I'm concerned.

I have pre-ordered the CE version of every MMO to come to US shores, examples being Age of Conan (actually bought two on accident, still have one sealed), Tabula Rasa, TERA, Aion, and SWTOR.

I think SWTOR was the last. I got tired of spending that kind of money on games I ultimately stopped playing, and little trinkets that just collect dust in a drawer. Just thinking of the thousands I have spent on these games makes me facepalm every time.
