I think it's safe to say now, unless the most epic comeback in football history happens now, but...

Benfica is currently winning Vitória de Guimarães 5-0 with 12mins to go.

With this win, Benfica becomes the Portuguese Champion, with one game left in the league. Additionally, for the first time in the club's history, Benfica wins 4 portuguese leagues in a row.

There it is, that time of the year where even who doesn't watch more than 1 or 2 games a year remembers that they are Benfica fans.

They are champions for the 4th year in a row but of those 4 only 2 were won clean. One of those 2 is this year, Sporting and Porto did too much shit so it had to be Benfica. Still, in the first half of the season there was some games that put Sporting farther from the title run cause of referee decisions. Can't really focus on it tho, because Benfica won with a good amount of points ahead. Let's see what happens next year with video refereeing.

It's not a set up against Sporting, it's set up in favor of Benfica. I am even afraid of winning the title again, i am sure some Porto fans feel the same, 6 million + of frustrated people, used to win by any means, is dangerous as hell.
