(Hotfix in testing; to be applied with next weekly maintenance) Strike of the Wind Lord now deals reduced damage to secondary targets.
Alright time to pretend the sky is falling. gogo

I mean, it's pretty embarrassing we're being balanced entirely around people complaining that we do well in short burst 830 content.
I think that nerf to the Strike of the Windlord is justified, if its nerf just to the AoE component. Right now SotW is like atomic bomb in AoE situations. Honestly it made me kinda lazy. Just SotW + FoF and I could just stand for the rest of the fight and noone could even get close to my damage. I didnt even learn how properly use and utilize Spining crane kick, because I didnt have to, all I had to do is press SotW. On the other hand I hope its single target damage part wont get nerfed, because for a single target its okay not overpowered.

I'm not very skilled with simcraft, and I was wondering if anyone checked to see if Potion of the Old War was better than Potion of Deadly Grace after today's hot fix or if we should keep sticking with Deadly Grace. Thanks!
You're not beating a half competent outlaw rogue, arms warrior, surrender to madness shadow priest, let alone a decent feral druid in single target DPS.
WW monk does about similar DPS to havoc demonhunter, which is to say a bit above the middle of the pack but still far down enough into the middle compared to single target specialists.

Can you cite any content in WoW where sustained AOE (3+ targets for greater than 30 seconds) has ever been relevant? And we're still top tier in that too. Without a nerf we are by far and away the best OE class in in situation that matters. We would be moving forward as well. 830 and 900 ilvl.

AMR is recommending that I enchant my neck with Trained Soldier over Mark of the hidden Satyr. However it also recommends full Savant gear, which has already been pointed out as incorrect. The difference between the two is minuscule (about 200 dps) but I'm still wondering why they're so close in the first place. Should I ignore AMR and enchant Satyr anyway? This was all done with stat weights simulated with my own gear.
i'm not sure if this has been asked before, but when everything is on cooldown, and you can only use blackout kick, is it worth it to do a tick crackling jade lightning until the global cooldown wears off to trigger another mastery: combo strikes for a blackout kick? Or is it actually a dps loss?
The only problem with deadly grace is it dmg are reduced during SEF ( on beta i didn t tey on live ) i hope we will see some kind of fix before the raid release
I've been using Drogbar-Style Salmon as I don't have the Fishbrul recipe yet, and have noticed that although the pepper breath damage stated in the tooltip changes with hit combo- up to 17k, the actual damage is coming in at 13k per. Is it still better than the equal tier (300) mastery food? On a slightly different tangent, any other Pandaren slightly bitter that we basically lose our racial with the pepper breath food?
