overwatch cinematic reaper uses grenades

so i watched the overwatch cinematic and realised that reader uses grenades, did they ever consider giving him this ability even as an alternate fire like an explosive slug shot from his shotgun. what do you guys think

I expect an earlier version of Reaper used grenades, and as such is reflected in the cinematic. He probably got changed part way through internal alphas.

Much like the Bastion Mine, it was probably just one big question of if it fits the playstyle and should be included.

I mean, the same logic could apply to that Tracer can revert time much longer in the cinematic featuring her and Widowmaker than the 3 seconds ingame.

bastion had a shield at one point in sentry mode lol, but i wish reaper could have had some form of explosive shells
