    Screw American Football: Rugby FTW

I was complaining about it being a slow weekend, but then I remembered I totally have something.

I've become a regular at a hookah bar that recently opened in town. Met a dude that plays Rugby on our local team (didn't even know it was a thing). Played with them 2 days later. Holy crap, I see why euros hate American football.

Rugby is a lot more fast paced, more punishing on the body if you don't know how to tackle properly, and requires more of a team sync IMO.

Definitely becoming a hobby. But I wanted to ask you Euros a few questions about it.

    1. How is Rugby in terms of popularity in Europe?
    2. Do you play? If so, what position?

I always thought about trying Australian football.

And this is not a typical Biggzoman thread, color me surprised.

American Football is vastly overated, especially now with all the rules changes that favor offenses to inflate fantasy football stats.

Yeah. Doesn't seem to be a debate concerning what a fuking catch is in Rugby, unlike Americian Football.

One drawback with Rugby is that I can't get away with being fat as a prop like I could as a D-Linemen in HS.

    1. Pretty popular in the UK, its one of the few sports that we invented that we are actually good at.

Hate to be a downer, but this would be better in the Sports forum
