Since when orcs monopolized wolf theme? lolWhy not? Because the Varian wolf theme he stole from the orcs?
Doesn't make him a Knaak character. He's a pure Blizzard character. He existed prior to Knaak even touching Night Elf lore. Rhonin, Krasus, Anveena, Valeera are all Knaak characters.

Since Warcraft 1 pretty much (And well, let's be fair, the connection between orcs and wolves have existed since the earliest of early fantasy, Tolkien was the first to combine the two). The wolf aspect of Varian always felt off, but it doesn't really matter anymore, since he's no longer bound by Goldrinn... Nor is he a live so nevermind that.
Amazing sig, done by mighty Lokann
Besides the point, when he originated in Warcraft 3, and not in a Knaak novel. That said, I'm fairly sure he's mentioned or has a line or two, in Tides of War.

Quite. Imagine if WoD had brought an alternate Frost-Lion Clan instead of Frostwolf clan. Would've been hilarious.

That does not make wolf theme belong exclusively to them in a bit. Goldrinn works just fine without having anything to do with orcs.Since Warcraft 1 pretty much (And well, let's be fair, the connection between orcs and wolves have existed since the earliest of early fantasy, Tolkien was the first to combine the two). Was Valeera created by Knaak? I don't remember that. Aside from the time travellers and side characters in WotA I think the dragon aspects were created by him too.
