I'm starting a thread since no one else seems to think there is one.

But remember there is another choice out there besides Trump and Hillary. And a much better choice as well.

Who, along with the runner up Jill Stein, has no chance in of winning a national election in the US.

Libertarians are a mix of positions from both main parties that will never be palatable to most Americans.

And Jill Stein is so far left that her chances are the same as the formation of a spontaneous snowball in a volcano. There simply is not the support in the US for hard Left views like hers. Not enough to pull her out of political nowhere.

Are they worthy of discussion as a matter of political philosophy? Certainly.

As a matter of political relevance? Nope.

Will he win? Pretty unlikely (but his odds are certainly improving as we near the debates).

We're either being asked to elect a big bank, or a bigot - and some of us perceive that as the choice between shit, and bullshit.

We're tired of the false choice. Throwing our vote away in protest is better than staying at home, and better than eating shit and pretending we're fancier than the people eating bullshit.

Libertarians sound good when they speak, their policies are feasible though. At least at the federal level. There parties do well at local-state levels or to pull/push the major parties.

Jill Stein is a bit crazy, I don't understand how she became popular.

Wish we had a bigger Independent / Third party option in this country to at least keep the major parties on their feet. This cycle demonstrates how comfortable the two parties have gotten and how much partisans are getting tired of their own parties. Problem is that even if you look other places, there are little to know viable options.
