Boosts are....ok?

I'm confused about something.

I thought that in general, boosts were considered bad by Blizzard, but they kinda turn a blind eye to the majority of it as it doesnt cause too much drama to the game. Obvious stuff like PvP boosts are a different kettle of fish, but i thought in general - they were "against" them.

When i was watching a vid on YT the other day, the advert at the start was for a boosting service (i forget which one), and they had a bunch of well know wow players from top guilds and rank 1s all endorsing them saying they're legit blah blah blah...

Surely having some of the posterboys of blizzard advertising this stuff is.. weird...right?

As long as you're paying in gold and playing your account they're completely fine with it. Otherwise it's against the TOS.

Well i just found the site of the boost service - its definitely a irl payment - not wow gold.
