Blood Elf females are too skinny to wield bigger weapons. Put some meat on their bones first. Only then can we start talking about bigger weapons.

ok their sluts, and they stand seductively, sorta leading into that shoulder tilt situation...
The bottom blades look much shorter from the fancy crossguard to curve unless it really is an issue with perception due to the way they stand since the same can happen with the Undead. I've never made a fem BE so I'm not terribly familiar with their model quirks.

For me, I prefer the Male model where they puff out their chest so much that they've dislocated their shoulders.

yeah, the models are the same size, and on the exact same pinpoint on the each shoulder, its just how the blood elf stands that makes it look abit weird

Sometimes we girls just want a smaller toy, that's ok .

Actually, I prefer the smaller weapons on my Warlock Blood-Elf. She looks way better with a small sword and a nice tome for the offhand. We are not charging into the crowd and wield our sword, we hurl our spells at the enemies

They should just let you glyph weapon size at various percentages of increase.

The unsheathed size is fine, they just need to increase the sheathed size to match it.

I am a fem Blood Elf fan mostly for their posture and attack animation, it flows nicely. They could have a bit heavier running though.

On topic, I like big weapons because you can admire them when sheathed and see all the tiny details modern weapons have. Older weapons though are less detailed so they don't look as good on say male Elves, while they look just fine on the female.

I was very excited to find out they increased the unsheathed size with the model update, I had been asking for it for a long time. It was way too small, even for the elf's small size. I think it's just fine right now, however they could increase the sheathed weapon size a bit to match the unsheathed size, but in no case decrease it at all. They also fixed their dual wield hip sheath position in 7.0 I think.

I voted that they should stay the same, because too big a la fem human size is silly -it looks like made of paper when she swings it. Way too big weapons is not ideal, a 2H sword should reach just below a character's hips when sheathed, it looks silly if it's bigger or smaller. The characters don't have different animations depending on the weapon's weight. Seeing a male Blood Elf Fury Warrior wield those big ass swords but swing them with his graceful complex moves as if he was wielding daggers is weird. They could however increase the sheathed size to match the unsheathed, which is good.

And as mentioned above, the shields should be bigger, you can't imagine a stalwart protector using a buckler.

TLDR, the weapon-body size ratio is good right now. If anything, they could increase the sheathed size a little bit to match the unsheathed one and maybe the shields/off-hands.

Wardrobe tab should have an option for scaling your weapon and shoulders.
You're getting exactly what you deserve.

well yeah, demon hunters are ment to be agile, and perfect demonic assassins, using a large weapon is clunky and slow, fast weapons allow them to strike key points quickly

imagine seeing a rogue using the black hand....
Demon hunters' glaives would look moronic no matter how they're sheathed. It would be better if they materialised when they're drawn and when you enter combat and then dematerialise when you sheathe them. It would fit with the lore of the demon hunters considering they can also summon their glaives from afar (like Illidan did in his cell per the book's description).

One of the main reasons why I dislike large weapons is because of the size changing between sheathed and held sizes. Having your weapon magically become 40% bigger because you're holding it is super distracting. Weapon sizes that fit the body size is the best option.

It makes sense where they are. they are supposed to be able to reach behind they're back and grab the handle. If it was lower, they wouldn't be able to do that.

makes sense but people complain about fist weapons disapearing.. so imagine how much people would complain about glaives...

If they added an animation of the blades being consumed by fel magic as they're being put away, and materialising out of the same when they're drawn, I feel like the complaints would be considerably less. The problem with fist weapons is that even though they have the basic draw/sheath animation that all other weapons use, they disappear as soon as they're away. They weren't designed with the idea of fading when not in use.

I think the issue is that it really just looks awkward for some people to be standing next to someone else using the same weapon with a similar model size and see that it's half the size. When I stand next to a guild friend on the beta, he's playing a male BE and I have a female. His glaives are literally almost double the size of my glaives, and his character is maybe 6 inches (estimating height, obviously) taller than mine if you were to convert them to life size people. A 6 inch height difference shouldn't end up in 4 foot long glaives suddenly turning to a set of 2 foot long glaives. It just looks awkward, and since everyone is going to be using the same weapons for the next expansion, it's really brought more attention onto this.

I mean, even in the OP's picture: look at the 1h and 2h weapons when sheathed. Why are they almost identical in size? Especially in the Titan's Grip picture, the swords that are notoriously long are around the same size as 1h weapons when sheathed. It just looks weird and causes awkward animations when your weapon changes sizes randomly.
