Is there any reason RIFT should still have a dedicated thread?

Is there any reason RIFT should still have a dedicated thread on MMOChamp and not other more popular MMORPG's?

I was just curious. Based on the pitiful population.
The only thing this section serves is as Free advertising to Trion Worlds.

Going from a champion underdog to the perceived greedy corporate it is today,
changing from F2P to B2P and other paywalls, reneging on promises it made.
"...all present and future updates will be free..."

Almost every other MMORPG currently has more players - heck, Lord of the Rings online has over double on Steam.
Isn't it time they also got their own thread as they've got more players?

Their comments just get lost in the mega threads.
It would greatly increase visibility and diversity of discussion if these also had their own forum sections.

The newer forums are just one Rift Community Ambassador advertising the game which quickly devolves into the rest of MMOChamp critiquing
it, calling out Trion's bad business decisions and then he proceeds to bash WoW to show the "glory" of Rift.

What I would love is for this to happen:
Isn't it time to be fair and give games that have WoW-type gameplay their own forum section:
    Wildstar,
    Neverwinter,
    Star Trek Online,
    DC Universe Online
    Tera,
    Elder Scrolls Online
    EvE Online
    Black Desert on-line
their own threads too if RIFT is to keep theirs?

(I have probably missed a few - put your suggestions below, please!)

Any hope of the above happening? MMO-Champ?

Tbh Yes if they can remove sub forums. There are loads of games more popular than this atm.

What I hear is that you want them to remove one group because the other groups don't get the same treatment.

Well, that may be what you hear, but it would incorrect - my motives are actually for a few other MMO's to get their own sub-forums. That's how I voted. I do find it odd that better performing games don't have their own sections. The moderation is far superior on MMO-Champ to other MMO forums I've had experience with.

that's a pretty good idea. I'd go with that - Archiving Rift not necessary, though if each have their own spot. I concede that the Rift thread is, however, pretty dead unless one of the White Knights posts something about a hotfix or expansion, etc.

If you'd like to request a subforum for other games or the closure of existing subforums, please use the suggestions and feedback forum.
