But a 5 second sit down and think would make anyone come to a logical decision the horde needed to retreat even from that angle. I mean is anyone rational going to go "Well the horde need to defeat the legion just as much as we do. But they stabbed us in the back because they must love to lose." of course not. And if you can't come to that conclusion you are unfit to rule and need to find someone to help turn your emotions off for a logical thought to come through.

There wasn't much of a direction they could go with developing him, which is why I think Blizzard offed him. He was such a one-dimensional character it felt like every part of the game he was in he was delivering a speech we already heard. Even on his deathbed he can only speak to da loa.

Still, he'll probably be back again. When has death ever stopped a Warcraft character.

I really, really wanted Varian to not be dead somehow, but watching that cinematic has absolutely crushed me.
I know I shouldnt feel like this over a god damned video game, but from seeing him in Duskwallow marsh 12 years ago and loving him as a character, to seeing him die like that absolutely fucked me in the heart.

yea it sucks, I like troll lore. I liked him in SOO when he was making threats against garrosh. they made his fighting generic too in the cinematic, where that shadow powers at....
