Genn Greymane and Broken Shore Irony

Isn't it ironic that Genn is blames the Horde for leaving the allaince and saving themselves at Broken Shore.

Doesn't that sound vaguely familiar to a certain member of an Alliance that put forth a half assed bare bones effort in the 2nd war until it hit their doorstep and then in the wars aftermath left the Alliance because they couldn't take Alterac Land and had to pay for the Prison camps. So they built a wall and sat behind it all the way through the third war watching misery unfold.

Fast track to cata and the undead Forsaken of the Third War and it's kingdoms ravaged Gilneas and now he is butthurt that not only does the Forsaken the people he was a complete shitbag to gave him his comeupins multiple times.

hes butthurt and he resents them. Must make him salty.

Well, he was quite younger as well, and worried for his own kingdom. Even so, I guess one doesn't avoid being humble after having the whole kingdom plagued or cursed. Even at so, no kingdom at all - so not really like the old days.

Almost 25 years have passed since the Second War. People get wiser with age.

He wasn't wise enough to know that Sylvanas had no choice but to retreat.

Yeah I don't like how they did those Cinematics as when your alliance you don't know what is happening Horde side causing them to retreat but yet the horde still see what happens to the alliance even though they have already retreated.

And he is dumb because he starts to assume things without any proof of anything.
Aka he isn't wise he is just dumb/driven by the hatred for Sylvanas.

i didnt say that he wasnt an asshole for that.
but "he wasnt wise enough to know" no one of them was wise enough to know, the entire alliance didnt see shit what was happening except varian who saw the demon waves when they looked down.

No but one can count up the possibilities and put what is most probable and least probable. If your life is dependent on the legion being defeated (Which being Azerothians the Alliance should know this is how the horde must feel) and you're withdrawing from battle, the absolute highest likely reason is because you're being beaten and need to GTFO. Especially when less than 10s later an entire army of demons is in the same place.

The biggest problem in the cinematic is the way the Dark Rangers retreat, they're like : "Okay, chill guys we're just gonna walk away slowly..." wtf...they could have shown one of them being grabbed by a felbat and the others running away but they didn't because Blizzard wants to create conflict between Horde and Alliance.

Two Dark Rangers were killed by felbats at the beginning of the Alliance cinematic. And yes, Blizzard wants to create conflict. That was the point.

At the beginning yes but not when they give the signal to retreat and the way they do retreat in Alliance cinematic is stupid, you're not gonna walk away in slow motion when you're General order you to get the fuck off.

But in the end Greymane is not gonna do anything stupid imo, now if we say Jaina well...She's so deep into her madness and her desire to show everyone how horrible the Horde is, I'm sure she will even morph troops into Horde people and start suicide bombing them into Alliance city to start a war. She crazy dude!

You guys don't get it. Greymane doesn't think Sylvanas is retreating out of cowardice or injury. He thinks Sylvanas intentionally called off air support to get the Alliance killed. He thinks she saw an opportunity to get the Alliance king killed and she allowed it to happen. This the term Betrayal.

    Technically speaking,

It is a little different when it comes to Broken Shore event vs the Second War thing.

Gilneas did not join the cause outright. They chose not to participate from the get-go.

During the Broken Shore, the Horde was directly involved in and through Greymane's point of view it looks like the Horde abandoned AFTER they were already there participating.

    So... technically a little different.

It doesn't take a genius to figure out what was going on when a handful of archers disappear, and moments later a mass of enemy troops show up in the same spot. They were pretty clearly overrun, exactly like what happened on the ground below.

Besides, wasn't there an airship directly above the battle that could easily have seen the disposition of the troops? It was sure as hell close enough to perform an evac.

The entire thing is contrived to keep pushing the horde/alliance war thing, even when it really makes ZERO sense after so many collaborations and world-threatening attacks. Blizz should just do like RIFT and get rid of the two-faction system entirely.

Jaine will manabomb Storm and Org if this happens. Could be fun.

Lol it's cute that Horde players are trying to find things to nitpick to make it not seem so bad that they are the biggest cowards in WoW now.

No, the Alliance seems to completely ignore the tactical situation and just want to be angry at the Horde. It seems like Alliance players are okay with the Alliance retreating, which Varian called for when the Horde pulled away, but not okay with the Horde doing the exact same thing. Why? The Horde forces were being overrun and both Thrall and Vol'jin were shown to be injured, and Baine was called back to Sylvanas during the fight due to injuries.

Sylvanas called for the only logical thing in that situation. She couldn't hold the ridge and therefore called for a retreat. If you think that's cowardice, then go join Jaina in the butthurt whiner category.

In terms of Greymane's hatred of the Horde, he is not acting very objective. While it could be called a desire to blame someone for the loss of his friend, he should be able to direct it at the demons. Instead, he's chosen to direct it at Sylvanas in order to pile more against her for her actions in Gilneas.

If there are two characters more at fault than any other at this point for the hard feelings between the Alliance and the Horde, its Greymane and Jaina. The only Horde leader vehemently anti-Alliance was Garrosh, and well he's come down with a bad case of death. At this point its just Jaina and Greymane trying to continue old hatreds.

One might say Sylvanas is anti-Alliance, but she like the Blood Elves, have their reasons for that and she has shown she can work with them as she did at the Siege of Orgrimmar. Jaina and Greymane have been contradictory to even the idea of working with the Horde in anything.
