Wasteful: Going to invasion as a lvl 50 leave it as a lvl 51.

Good: Going to invasion as a 90-91-92 leaving as a 91-92-93.

The level disparity is huge. 50 to 51 is 15-20 min dungeons and 90-91 is 2 hours dungeons or questing. Rested exp/artifacts included etc.

your 50 lvl will benefit far more if he waits 10-20 lvls so he can gain more per invasion and fly to all of them.
At level 50 if you attack the mobs in the city I am getting anywhere from 3 to 5 levels an invasion and up to 10 for doing a set of them. If you attack the mobs though. And if a couple of you do it you get xp for all they kill too so you can spread out and get even more xp.

Or open it and sell it and it still sells for the level 100 prices even though scaled down to your level. Getting 60g a weapon or 30 gold a armor piece ain't bad for a low level.

Also make the one of the main cities in panda land your home and one can get anywhere. I always do this on alts just need to have a friend or guildie willing to take you there or pay a Mage

Also get crazy xp doing the opening scenario. Just have to be 98 to do it.

Leveling in invasions is not FAST.

The fact that you can AFK through them whilst doing other things is what makes it interesting for some people. But it's not fast, at all.

Some people just always want to be negative, argue or be insulting all the time even if they don't know what they are talking about.

Have you done it? If getting multiple levels an invasion how is that not fast and easy? Just attack the mobs that spawn in the cities for more xp. Have a few friends or guildies go with you so you can cover the whole city and you get crazy xp. Up to 5 levels or more per invasion for low levels. With the xp potion from garrison up to 2 levels an invansion for higher levels how again isn't that fast?

For something that takes 20 minutes to maybe a half hour once every four hours. And they is doing both invasions

Faster than questing, that's for sure.

For best results, combine dungeon quests with invasions.

I may have to consider doing that, because I'm getting about 1/4 of a level per invasion.

I'll have to enchant a bunch of heirlooms before I do, since some enchants only work on iLvl 600 or below.
But... I think the XP bonus still works, even if you are 91+. So you could still use them to AFK in the area.

For my level 90+ characters, I'm gonna use invasions to level up to 96 then finish the last 4 levels hunting for treasures/doing objectives in Spires of Arak. SoA is really beautiful and treasure hunting is pretty fun IMO. Invasions are fun too but it definitely gets repetitive, especially if you're on a PvP server and Illidankxx wants to graveyard camp you.

If you hate to level through levels 60-90, then definitely do invasions :P

It is quite fast, if you have heirlooms and the exp potions.
Not super quick without, but still effortless and something you can do AFK.

If you have flying at 90+ I would rather do treasures in draenor.

Posting on my phon3, which doesn't love wowhead.

    What pieces have XP bonuses?

I have Mists enchants on shoulders, chests, and legs (and weapons/shields/offhands?, but don't plan on upgrading those), so I'd need to create a few spares, since they scale to 600.

I have Warlords enchants on cloaks, and all four types of rings (including Dread Pirate). I think those are safe, since the enchants scale past 605. (May create new heirlooms with Legion enchants...)

Can't enchant helms, so no problem there.

I think they buffed it with one of the hotfixes, so I think we're going to be okay.

Thanks! Think I need to hit auction house for some mats for the Mists enchants.

BTW why do you need enchanted heirlooms? You just need it for bonus exp. Open all your legion chests when you hit 100 and get ilvl 700 gear. Heirlooms only scale to ilvl 605 (or was it 610?) @ 100.

Most interesting question is... would this gear scale to ilvl 800+ if I keep these boxes untill I ding 110?

Doing this from lvl 10 on a PvP server without a taxi :P Currently lvl 31 after 4 invasions and 2 dungeons. Really liking this method though after levelling about 30 characters the old fashioned way.
