Is Ret Paladin in a bad state?

Any take on ret Pally? It feels really clunky. My rotation seems solid but damage seems crap...any input?

You must be new here, Ret pallies are not allowed to be competitive.

I like Ret at 30%+ Haste, which allows Judgment to basically never be on cooldown. Otherwise, I want to cry.

What talents are you using? I've gotten the best consistent results from 1-1-1-2-1-1-1, only using Justicar's Vengeance when Divine Purpose is ready.

I mean its Ret. They aren't great but it won't be unviable.

The damage is crap if my Unholy DK is any indication. Ret utterly pales in comparison. Sadly, while the numbers can always be flipped around leading up to and after launch, the clunky rotation itself is likely here to stay. That's how it goes with Expansion. Every one is a roll of the dice and sometimes your class wins and sometimes it'll lose.

Against the plate wearers I'd play a Warrior or DK. But pallys can still beat them in PvP which I play mostly.
