The flag might have been a really good thing of unity some years ago, but i really think that Turkey and Germany is too far apart from each other for this to work. Saying that you feel connected to both Turkey and Germany means, that you are having some very wierd pick-and-choose problems when it comes to administration of country.

Why would that be shitty? In any country people are expected to respect the local laws, norms and moral codes. Why should Europeans be the only ones who aren't allowed to demand that from migrants? Especially when it's only certain migrant groups that are causing trouble, and you know which ones they are as well as I do.

Your country is just a baby. Your culture is just a baby. Your nation is just a baby. Your historical memory is just forming. Your sense of what it means to be an American is in it's infancy.
Don't take it as an offense. It actually is one of the greatest American strengths.

Europe and European nations are vastly, vastly different thing than America and American society. The same goes for the entire of Eurasian continent and those who live here. This is a part of the world with deeply rooted historical memories. This is not a ''forgive and forget'' place.

It's a bullshit premise anyway, because it's not like any of these European countries have expended a single ounce of effort trying to absorb immigrants into mainstream society. The dominant attitude seems to just be annoyance that foreigners exist at all, and that if they have the gall to try and live in Europe they just need to bow their heads, do exactly as they're told, and stay the hell away from any "real" Europeans lest they stain them with their inferior barbarian culture. And admittedly, most Americans were reluctant to assimilate immigrants as well, but at the very least people realized fairly quickly that it was an inevitable process and that pushing back against it was ultimately a futile effort.

They aren't always Eagles. Often they're griffons.

It'd be a hard mistake to make if the whole body is shown, as griffons have a few extra parts that eagles don't. But in the cases where just the head is used, the way to tell the difference is that griffons have ears, eagles don't.

Sorry, i was referring to heraldry, where figures on the shield are supposed to fit the area, so you could recognize them from afar by their shape. for eagles the rule means outstretched wings as the "standard" pose, single head turned to his right shoulder.
