Young Frankenstein still holds up if you want to see a funny movie.

He was a great actor and starred in a lot of my favorite movies growing up. Its really sad to hear when anyone dies. I wish his family the best in these difficult times.

This made me sad. Gene Wilder was a favorite of mine. Loved him in Blazing Saddles.

Yep, he was old. He kinda looked like Rick from Rick and Morty.

That sucks. I remember him as Willy Wonka more than any of his other roles, but he was an amazing actor.

He suffered from Alzheimers. His passing is more of a relief for his loved ones, I'm sure.

He survived non-hodgkin's lymphoma, so he had that going for him.

For 2 or 3 summers, ss a kid, my brother, my cousins and I would go to my great aunt's house and watch Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory at least once a week.

I loved him in The Producers, Blazing Saddles, and damn near every movie he was in.

    RIP Gene.

I've had more than one relative who has died due to complications from Alzheimers. Death was a relief for us each time.

I actually thought he was already dead... why did I think that?

One of my favorite scenes from my favorite Gene Wilder movie:

    Seriously.
ALthough at least Gene Wilder was old.
Never seen the chocolate factory myself. In Blazing saddles and young Frankenstein he was perfect though. Fuck you 2016.
Hopefully theyll show some of his movies.
They WONT be showing blazing saddles on TV though, of that Im sure. The very sensible people of today would go mental over it.

    Dang it!

Stir Crazy is still one of the funniest around imho.
