No one will be level 20 for several months
My AK is 21 on Beta; I think the cap is 25. When people say "artifact level" I think they mean number of points spent in it and the number that displays in the top corner.
"GM response above" shady text without soucre
So many theories going around, anyone tried logging in with the Username Lich.King@gmail.com and Password: Arthas69 perhaps that will unlock it?
The problem in general with expecting the unlock to be thematic of the DK at all is that... it's not really the precedent that's set by the other artifact.
Blood's? Comes as a drop from a scenario. Literally the only hint about it was the use of the word "magic".
For all we know, Unholy's is literally refashioned from an instrument and Frost's from some gibbering tongue-beast.

It doesnt, like every other secret skin that dropped in the beta, the source changed.
- - - Updated - - -
And unless you post a picture with proof that it dropped from here on live, with the achievment from the armory as proof, its like that.
... How many skins changed between now and beta? Name one, specifically.
(Alpha doesn't count, you said beta.)
The problem was that a bunch of the skins weren't even enabled in beta, not that they moved. Several of the locations are known, have been known and have been collected on live, and didn't change locales.
If you think the Blood skin moved because you tried the scenario and haven't found it yet, that's probably because you haven't found the right chest yet, not that it's not in any of them.

Ok guys, some obvious thing nobody seemed to mention though. For every artifact, there are actually THREE, not two hints at the description text: Name of item, Name of appearence, and Flavour text.
So far this thread seemed to ignore the Names of appearences. For example druid appearence:
http://www.wowhead.com/item=139552/f...the-moonspirit is just called Moonspirit appearence, as it simply transforms you into Moonspirit. However others, like:
http://www.wowhead.com/item=139546/t...anima-of-souls - Touch of Undeath appearence
http://www.wowhead.com/item=139547/r...-the-darkening - Dark runeblade appearence
http://www.wowhead.com/item=139565/s...-fallen-exarch - Vindicator's Bulwark appearence
http://www.wowhead.com/item=139560/everburning-crystal - Frostfire Remembrance appearence
Do not have matching names. These names however often define what exactly is the appearence we used for our artifact.
So, straight to the point, below is the complilation of all discovered and known artifact skins that have appearence and item names matching. Together with flavour texts, all have very easy interpretations:
http://www.wowhead.com/item=139549/g...he-deathwalker
Deathwalker = long dead master = who the master fell to? demons, obviously = a drop from demon (in special encounter)
http://www.wowhead.com/item=139550/b...he-iron-warden
Iron Warden fell on Aldrachi = you can't find it on Azeorth = you find it in the Twisting Nether on the other side of portal in class order
http://www.wowhead.com/item=139553/m...glade-guardian
Glade Guardian named Ursoc = drop from Ursoc
http://www.wowhead.com/item=139556/s...tes-ravenguard
connected to Ravenguard, lost to time (materials do not exist) = sold by night elf ghost
http://www.wowhead.com/item=139559/the-stars-design
written to be made by nightborne, dropped in Suramar in beta
http://www.wowhead.com/item=139562/b...ndying-serpent
drops from Undying Serpent... Dragon of Nightmare
http://www.wowhead.com/item=139563/the-stormfist
only one without good explanation, but its written "little is known about origin". Withered scenario drops were always the easiest to find though, so Blizzard didn't have to care.
http://www.wowhead.com/item=139568/s...-the-lightborn
Power of Valkyra = drop from Val'kyr, Hyrja (+item sold by valarjar rep vendor)
http://www.wowhead.com/item=139569/claw-of-nzoth
closest connection to N'zoth = drop from Il'gynoth
http://www.wowhead.com/item=139571/t...worldly-venoms
strictly connected to Zandalari... requires visit to Thunder King scenario
http://www.wowhead.com/item=139579/the-dragonslayers
you get it by fusing items dropped by specific dragons - what did you expect?
Why is it so? Because only item very closely connected to source that appears in its name could have it appear twice, under appearence name and item name itself - Blizzard just couldn't find anything even closely appropriate for its description.
And now the flavour:
http://www.wowhead.com/item=139548/the-bonereapers-hook
It's apperence name is simply "Bone Reaper". Like in many cases above, we did not get specification on what Bone Reaper is. Then the flavour text, also like in cases above, is of crucial importance. We need to come up with something VERY CLOSELY connected to Icecrown Citadel. It's explicitly written! I don't see ANY specific places mentioned in flavour texts (although I could miss 1 or 2) apart from Bonereaper's Hook. Icecrown Citadel is the key.
Unless we decide Blizzard is intentionally misleading us - but then we won't find it ever, as we can same assume it isn't hook at all.

Saurfang isn't the key to the appearence. It's just a flavour element. The ending scene. This quest requires you to search the Broken Isles and find and duel Saurfang. The exact nature of triggering this quest is unknown.
Zandalar Doomhammer item name and appearence name are completely different. My whole post was about situation in which they match. Please read before replying.
