    Horde Mini atx or box build tor gtx 1080 + i7

    Mini itx / box build for GTx 1080 / i7 6700k or 6800k
    Hello all,

    As title says, need help deciding on mini atx or box build . Currently bought 1080 gtx and thinking of getting i7 quad or hex core.

    Not really sure what you're asking.

    This is really about what you want. If your question is "can you put an i7 and a GTX 1080 in a small case" then the answer is yes, easily, with no compromises.

    What about sound and cooling, would there be issues with these components or new tech runs cool? Used to have hot hot 480 gtx and it would fry in little box

    My apologies, previous threat was more about other components not focused on mini setup, if mod could merge both threads.


    Going to use for gaming and some video editing , want it to be future proof for around 3 yrs.

    The 1080 is gainwards founders edition, stock cooler

    Btw whats smallest box Asus z170 can fit in ? I'm considering i7 6700k but it uses 1151 socket and seems like asus is way forward with price and quality ?
