the essentials to navigate broken isles?

So i have flight masters whistle and a water strider but i believe there are many more tools to help navigate through the zones faster and in a more comfortable way. I heard of an item that lets you jump up high but not sure of the name.

Whats a good list of must haves?

Either Anglers exalted (Azure Water Strider) or Best Friends with Nat Pagle from either Mists fishing or Warlords fishing (Crimson Water Strider).

I kind of like Emerald Wings though not as fancy as the gliders.

Anglers dailys in MoP Krasarang wilds. Takes about 2 weeks to obtain. You also get a nice fishing pole and a raft that lets you move on water at faster than ground mount speed.

I would seriously recommend the MoP one. Its less of a grind and while it might take longer, less time will be spent overall when you total the hours up. Dailys take less than 10 min a day. You can just park someone there and do it every day.

Careful. It's a bit finicky in that it doesn't always send you up high enough to be able to get all 10 orbs.
