A good number of right of center hosts are also on podcasting due to clearchannel radio. I however stand by my comments about the left's hosts. While often Rush is demonized by the left you had his equivalent in Ed Schultz. Also, if you look at the audience numbers for radio equivalent, its dominated by the right hosts while there is only 1 left host at the bottom, right below a country music channel...

Your arguments are just wrong. The fact is radio is old media and is being supplanted by new online forms. That means that those that grew up with talk radio are basically the only ones that still listen to it. So for example in 2014 the average Rush listener was 66 years old (I'd guess its 67-68 now), and which demographic skews heavily right-wing? That's right, old white guys. The very demographic that is the only one that listens to talk radio in sizeable numbers. The young who skew heavily left are all about online media, which is why there isn't any large left-wing presence in radio. They are all online instead.

Let's say the government owns a park in the center of town, and they allow a left wing group to rent it for the entire year so that they have the exclusive right to use it to spread their message, protest, put on lectures, do whatever they want. His listeners are literally dying off. Given the average listener is in his late 60's in the not to distant future there won't be enough left to keep his show going. Another decade and his show will be gone. The same thing is happening to fox news where the average viewer is 68 years old, and where, hilariously enough, the average age of their new young star, Megyn Kelly, is 72.
