Right -- the inflation rate is rising though and the Fed would prefer a higher interest rate so if they think they can tick it up 0.25% without much impact they'll probably do it.

I'm not saying it's likely -- but I don't think keeping interest rates at zero for a long time is what the Fed wants. Although I'd be fine with it!

However they won't. Our economy is not as strong as it should be by now. Stimulus has been lackluster (thanks Obama!) that probably won't be the case. The fed should seek other alternatives.
