^^Exactly. Those tokens don't just appear from nowhere, someone paid $20 for it and then put it up for sale.
Why would you post such nonsense? Every press release about sub numbers from Blizzard, from 2004 onwards, has had an incredibly clear definition of what their subscriber numbers mean:
World of Warcraft subscribers include individuals who have paid a subscription fee or have an active prepaid card to play World of Warcraft, as well as those who have purchased the game and are within their free month of access. Internet game room players who have accessed the game over the last thirty days are also counted as subscribers. The above definition excludes all players under free promotional subscriptions, expired or cancelled subscriptions, and expired prepaid cards.
So I have no idea where you got the completely wrong idea that prepaid game time cards weren't counted.
The only controversy there has ever been is that the Chinese numbers included everyone who had ever paid a few yuan to play an hour of WoW any time in the last month.
if the subs were at 10,1 at the end of the expansion, i'd be like: Damn son you got some skillz after all.
Multiple sources are reporting that Blizzard has claimed the 10.1 figure is a misquote and is not valid.
There isn't anything else to discuss, I guess.
