I changed to Blood Elf just because I think they look the best in 99% of armor sets. I didn't give a thought about racials.

I like the blood elf aoe silence. Tauren have more stamina but they just look ridiculous.

Pretty sure the bonus is to base stamina before gear is added, making the bonus negligible. Blood elf is the way to go, looking at raw dps because arcane torrent gives holy power off gcd. War stomp vs. arcane torrent for utility could see some argument, but I like torrent better. Originally Posted by Crits-N-Gigglz

Taurens all the way imho, but I despise belfs so I don't count.

Blood elf for racials and looks as far as I know. AoE silence+'emergency' holy power has been useful in both PvP and dungeons and 1% crit doesn't hurt.

Both have their ups and downs.
Tauren:
+ Stamina boost, so good for tanking
+ Stomp is good for interrupting uninterruptable abilities on normal mobs
+ Cow paladin is pretty badass
-- Gear models pretty shitty on them, especially helmets
Blood Elves:
+ Awesome model
+ Gear fits the best on them, possible better than humans
+ Elves are master race
+ AoE silence is awesome for interrupting groups, and awesome in PvP
-- Probably get called a girl or a fag often
-- Looks so good you'll want all your characters to be blood elves
I am somewhat biased to elves though...

Blood Elf for Arcane Torrent.
Damn nice in Mythic+ runs for the AoE silence, and better DPS increase than Tauren racials would offer.
On bosses you'll want to Arcane Torrent soon after popping Crusade, when you're at two Holy Power to get a third one without having to spend a GCD (Arcane Torrent is off GCD), so you'll get that TV in one GCD sooner to increase your overall damage during Crusade.
It's not much by any means, but it's better than anything Tauren racials could give you.
