Did they just nerf camera max distance again?

I went on the ptr, and even with using the /console cameraDistanceMaxFactor 2.6 command, the camera distance is not even close to being as far out as it is on live right now.

Did they secrety nerf it again? Or is it just me?

edit: made a new char and the console works again, strange. Feel free to delete the thread.

It was renamed, its now cameraDistanceMaxZoomFactor, and should properly stick once set, unlike 7.0 where you need to reset it every login or use an addon to do that.
