Hello everyone!

Epitome is a guild formed from core leadership of experienced players who have raided together for 8 years. We migrated to Silvermoon prior to Legion and are now progressing through Heroic and then Mythic content!

We are currently 7/7NM and 5/7HC, and are seeking dedicated, mature raiders to join our progression team. Our raid days are Wednesday/Thursday/Sunday from 20H30 - 00H00 server time. We are currently prioritising:

  • Mages (Preferably Fire)
  • Warlocks (Preferably Demonology)
  • Elemental Shamans
  • Mistweaver Monks
  • Death Knights (Unholy/Frost, but a good Blood offspec is favourable)


While these classes and specialisations are on the top of our wishlist, we will always consider good applications from players who are keen to be part of our team.

GUILD MANTRA

Our mission is to create an environment in which World Of Warcraft players can experience all forms of end game content in a nurturing, kind and progressive environment. We aim to help our players grow to their fullest potential as MMO gamers and experience the maximum enjoyment from the game by facilitating group content in a structured, organised manner. We wish to provide our players with a home away from home, a safe space in which they never feel judged, ill-treated or deemed to be inferior - a beacon of light in a harsh, aggressive online world that welcomes like-minded individuals but also people from all walks of life of different creeds, cultures, races and religious beliefs who can achieve common goals together.

GUILD CODE OF CONDUCT

We expect our players to:

  • Respect one another and treat people the way in which you yourself would like to be treated
  • Be decent towards players in pickup groups - you will wear a brand that not only speaks for yourself, but for all of the members of Epitome and that means we should all put our best foot forward not only play-wise but also in the way you treat strangers on the server and in group content not done with other guild members
  • Help your fellow guild member - we thrive in an environment where people help one another - nobody can ever know every single thing about the game, so whether it's assisting with knowledge or trading materials, we want an environment in which people can rely on each other


RAID RULES

  • SIGN UP - all raid invites will be done via the in-game calendar - it is important that you accept, decline or mark yourself as tentative on the calendar for any official raid event to which you are invited - if you're marked as tentative or if your status needs to change then...
  • COMMUNICATE - we are all aware that real life takes priority over an online game - however, you are progressing through raid content with at least 9 other people and at most 19/29, and out of respect to them, if your plans change and something comes up, it is expected that you communicate this to an officer as soon as possible - you may use whichever means of communication you are comfortable with and may tell any of the officers, or have a guild friend communicate to an officer, but it is mandatory that we are informed in some way or form
  • BE PREPARED - All Illidan references aside, you will be expected to have a thorough, working knowledge of your class and specialisation as well as every encounter we will be facing during progress - raiders will not be boosted by the guild, and we expect you to be reasonably gemmed and enchanted for progression content.
  • RESPECT THE RAID LEADER(S) - During progression, we always value constructive input between wipes, but we strongly discourage shouting over or interrupting the raid leader mid-encounter if you have not been specifically asked to call out a mechanic.
