    Guardian hidden appearance drop/multiple attempts.

    Hi folks

I am trying to get the Ursoc drop for this. My question is can I run more than one type of raid difficulty per week to try for it. For example, I run LFR weekly but could I try for it in a Normal raid, Heroic, Mythic, etc?

Also, does anyone have any idea of what the drop rate might be.

And finally, is it possible to receive this using a bonus roll?

Thanks in advance for your help.

raid modes have separate loots so running all 4 difficulties should give higher chance of getting it...but still I have not seen it drop once and I have killed ursoc 5 times. Bonus roll? Who knows, that item is not even listed anywhere in loot tables.

If we dont get it by the time Nighthold comes out we will probably never get until 1-2 next expansions (when we are able to solo). With nighthold coming out nobody will run EN LFR and all guilds will move to the new raid as well. Amazing design at its finest.

LFR activity from previous expansions would suggest you're completely wrong. People will still run EN LFR even after NH is released. The "try-hard" Normal/HC pug activity might decrease though.

and Legion gearing changes suggest you are wrong...what is the reason to run EN LFR when nighthold LFR will be available? Care to explain? Better gear drops elsewhere, cool quests do not work there...so, what exactly is the point? Or by "will still run EN LFR" you mean waiting in qeue 12 hours?

People did LFR in WoD only for legendary ring farm-fest and before that for gear...as I said its not the case of EN. Sure people will love nighthold LFR for tier sets but EN? Cant think of any reason to run that, would you help me here?

actually i would have thought legion gearing would encourage people to run en more, seeing as the gear has a chance to titanforge well beyond what base nh will give.

You make no sense at all...

With the ilvl randomness people have actually more reasons to run previous LFR than ever before.

Because they just want to see the place? Because it's trivial difficulty for a chance of titanforged? Because they're farming runes?
Plenty of reasons. You're way too deep in the salt-mines, come up for a bit of fresh air for a moment?

Except for the Hunters farming Ursoc for an Artifact appearance.

    And Monks farming Dragons.

    And Priests farming Il'gynoth.

Shouldn't be hard to get a 10-player raid of people who way outgear normal to have appearance farm groups. Plus all the folks running the different difficulties for mog, which happens every tier.

Can run all difficulties and loot it from any

Or they could just give us an achievement/quest chain to unlock it. Where is the prestige in getting a random loot drop?

At least we're not Fury Warriors.

Yeah, a little bit pissed that I'll have to pug EN once Nighthold is out for my Shadow Priest appearance because guild won't run it then.

But I'll have high enough gear to get me in to pugs easily.

Yeah. Was at AK4 and halfway to Revered with Valajar because I'd got my Warrior started up after my Mage was pretty raid ready. Missed out on Nithogg's drop week 1. Fucking sucks ; /
