Karazhan secret boss Nightbane

My group managed to full clear Kara earlier today, but didn't manage to find any clues as to how to spawn Nightbane.
Just curious whether anyone else had more luck or knows any additional info?

Go talk to Khadgar in Dalaran, he gives you a quest to kill Skovald in HoV. After that you go back to Khadgar and have to do BRH, VH and VOTW (I think) on Mythic.

Yep. Also pick up the weekly quest which is 4 mythic dungeons. You can get it done while getting attuned. Quite amusing a few people on my server are bitching the attunement is too hard. /mega facepalm

I..What? You don't even have to do Mythic+ or anything for it... Just ordinary Mythics that people have been doing for weeks... I literally just made a HoV group saying "Doing Kara attunement from start to finish" and got 4 others in 5 minutes; knocked out all 4 dungeons in a little over an hour... None of us were even above 850 ilvl :/

Glad I don't play on that server; haven't seen anything remotely close to shit like that on Thrall. Mostly just people bitching about the same shit I do, like waiting 15+ fucking minutes in queue as a tank/healer for random heroics, when call to arms is active.

they could just make the CTA deactivate as soon as it's back over threshold and you'd never get the CTA bonus, if you prefer.

I guess you don't remember the fact that basically no one was attuned to karazhan except 1-2 people max per group?

Tanks usually had the key since they had no trouble finding groups

bad english and completely off topic:

i stopped playing 2 weeks ago -> i am a huge fan of gaming - i love it since i can remember (consoles, pc, everything) - but wow completely destroys my hobby for me - it's an addiction problem. Whenever i'm wow addicted and i try to play something else (some single player experience) I always have this tingling in the back of my head that i should grind x or farm y... the last time it's been mad max: great open world game. awesome looking scenario and a great engine easily running on 60 fps. i love it, but with wow on the line i barely couldnt play for 20 minutes without feeling that i miss something in wow right now...


so i totally stopped playing wow for 2 weeks now (and finished mad max + other games) and i would like to try karazhan the next weekend:

the only thing that bothers me now is: i have to clear 4 dungeons i don't want to (and cleared them already several times on m and m+) just to enter the place i'd like to see.

3 weeks ago it would have been perfectly normal for me to do the prequests but now i just find it annoying but it's not too hard, no. so i'm gonna steamroll the dungeons this weekend and then look if i can get a karazhan group and try not to get mega addicted instantly

Wrote this out for my guildies, but just in case anyone else wants to know and hasn't already seen it elsewhere, attunement for Kara as below:

0) Pick up the weekly quest for 4 MC dungeons outside Violet Hold. (might as well, given that you are about to do 4 MC dungeons anyway)
1) Pick up the quest chain from Khadgar in Violet Citadel.
2) Halls of Valor Mythic
3) Back to Khadgar, pick up the next quest.
4) Violet Hold, Vault of the Wardens and Black Rook Hold Mythic.
5) Back to Khadgar, pick up the next quest and portal to Karazhan.
6) Dodge horde and do a few rounds of quests under and around Karazhan, killing demons, closing portals and a few other bits and pieces.
7) Pick up the quests for 5 different Soul Fragments and killing Viz'aduum the Watcher outside Karazhan, these are for doing in the dungeon later.

Worth doing this on alts as well, as the quest line gives a lot of AP and you'll be doing the MC dungeons anyway for the weekly quest. Although MC+ also counts for the weekly quest as well apparently.

Keep your eyes peeled for a Karazhan mission from your Order Hall too. Requires 850ilvl followers and will most likely give higher base ilvl loot than standard MC gear.

I find it funny that no one here is even on topic, everyone keeps talking about the attunement when the topic is about Nightbane.

We recently cleared Kara and have been running around looking for secrets for around an hour now, haven't found anything interesting yet.
