It sucks have the same sound for pretty much every situation.
Would be nice if they separated the sounds. Like one sound for an event warning (phase transition, or big raid damage inc, etc), a different sound for a debuff on you (ie like Rot on you, or Xavius' blades on you, etc), a different sound for you standing on fire, and a different sound for a spell/ability that you have to interrupt.
Same sound for all these different things get very confusing, especially on fights like Mythic Xavius/Cenarius/Dragons where there are lots of shit you have to be aware of and my DBM is going off with that same horn sound over and over.

Is there a way to change DBM trigger sounds depending on situation?

Yes. It's in the settings. There's a drop-down menu for each alert.

Cut out all the irrelevant stuff too while you are there, for example tank swaps, and it should become less confusing as well.

Where exactly? I'm seeing options to change font and bar size/colors/location and an option to change the alert sound to something else, but no option to set each alert sound to a specific event. Originally Posted by Wingwraith
