Chill of the grave and Potion of the old war

I don't know if this has been discussed much, but I'm just wondering if Chill of the grave makes frost strike an actual ranged ability. Because old war only procs on meele hits.

no, its a melee attack (requires melee weapon) with a range of 13 yards, clawing shadows procs it too which is a melee attack with a 30 yard range, spells probably wouldnt work like howling blast / deathcoil
