"Small Oily Puddle" - New mechanical pets in Azsuna?

While doing my rounds for the Pink Hippogryph, I came across "Small Oily Puddle" around 51, 16 in Azsuna.. There were a few puddles going in either direction and then they disappeared.

I thought of flaring but wanted to see if they reappeared in a certain direction. After a min or so they disappeared. Same happened a bit further down another road. Anyone know if there is anything to these puddles?

yes, these puddles are for rush in azsuna, and treble in highmountain, the mechanical wolves

It is one of the mechadogs, there is one in Azsuna and HighMountain. Toss a flare and you'll potentially see the mechadog if you hit it.
