Hi fellow MMO-championeers and potential applicant!

<Forte> has finally decided it is time to strengthen the ranks to properly prepare for the upcoming raids in WoW, so here we now are hoping maybe some up and coming individuals feel the calling and perhaps will join us on the journey to come.

HISTORY / ABOUT US

Forte has been around since the dawn of World of Warcraft and to this very day still houses many of the same players which were active back then, which is a feat in itself.
We were even considered one of the top world guilds back in the days clearing content before any other prior to any dungeon journal, Wowhead and the likes were available, but of course it’s not comparable to today’s “race”.

Now things have definitely changed over the years, we've all grown older, some more than others, and where one would prepare to leave the safety of their family’s nest back in the days while fighting our way through Molten Core side by side, we now see the very same people having started a family of their own while being a bastion for their partner in crime in the Emerald Nightmare. We could almost say we are a small family ourselves, and have come to enjoy the game more casually than we did in our early years without giving up the dedication and quality for the hours we put in.

However, we’ve seen friends come and go throughout the expansions. which is natural over the course of years we’ve been around, but we’ve managed to maintain a core set of players which form our backbone in our raiding group and have stuck to a somewhat hesitant mindset that we want our group to be tight knit and maintain quality over quantity.

With that said, with Legion released and seeing how much we have enjoyed it so far it has triggered some old emotions and sparked a lust to delve deeper into raiding and push our progress a bit further, and have decided to bolster our ranks substantially to prepare for Nighthold, and this is where you come in!

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT OF US?

• Predictability and consistency

We’ve been around for many years and will continue to be around in the foreseeable future, so joining us will hopefully be a home for you for years to come. A guild move is not a thing to take lightly so we will do our utmost for you to feel at home as well as give you a predictable schedule regarding raiding and what not.

• Maturity and humour

Not only do our officers sport an average age well above 30, but most of our players are in their mid-late 20’s and early-mid 30’s. We strongly believe it to be a catalyst for a healthy attitude and know the importance of enjoying our time together without it being a chore and neglecting our personal lives.

• Clearing of current content in a timely fashion

While we do not fight for server first kills we do pride ourselves in the quality and commitment we put in compared to hours spent.

• A dedicated Discord server utilized for raids and socializing

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU

• Predictability and consistency

This applies to you just as much as it applies to us. Attendance is paramount. We fully understand life happens, and we’ll all back you up should something arise, however a certain degree of expectation must be met out of respect for the rest of the group.
You are in control of your own schedule, able to balance your real life commitments, work and relationships with the time you spend online.

• Preparation

You come prepared, both mentally and physically (pixelwise at least). Gems, pots and flasks, we assume you know the drill.
You’ve researched fights through the various sources available and have a ballpark understanding of how to approach our coming encounters.

• "I am so smart, S-M-R-T!"

Full knowledge about your class and strive to up your game no matter what. We don’t expect you to be a number cruncher, but if you fail to grasp the basic or intermediate know-how’s of your own class you will fall short.

• Attitude

Positive attitude! You are not perfect, and neither are we. If you however feel you are, then you'll have a hard time fitting in, and to be honest we most certainly don't want to have you around.
As have been mentioned before by several others, but never fails to bring the point across; you're your own harshest critic and the group's fiercest advocate. By bringing your A-game and manage to have fun at the same time we will get along really well!
