I'm beside myself in denial tonight. I really didn't think the entire way that Trump wanted to win. I still think it's possible that Trump won't want to be bothered with the day to day running of the country and that Pence might actually be doing the heavy lifting.

So you didn't answer the question I asked. How are you going to mass deport millions of American citizens?

You know the funniest part? Gary Johnson probably cost Hillary Michigan, Florida and Pennsylvania if Trump does end up winning it. That's 65 electorals right there.

Edit: oh and New Hampshire so 69

And that is the problem. So many people screaming "mah freedomz!" and then voting for the Other guy, just to spite the one they hated the most. The stupid notion of having to vote is absurd. I have seen so many people QQ anytime I told them i wasn't voting that its sickening. Them responding with "well, vote for the one you hate less just to spite the one you hate most". That isn't a good solution, or even an acceptable one. People shouldn't be told to vote, even if its just to spite the one you hate.

My fear is that Democrats, Liberals, Progressives, will prefer to go back to sleep, to embrace comforting bullshit and to hide from the socioeconomic crisis in the heartland. THEY FUCKED UP! and I fear they will deny and reject it forever.
I figure they'll have to, at leats until the demographics shift enough to not have to worry about another rural white surge.

Which would still be stupid, because no demographic deserves to be left behind. Except the racists and bigots, but rural white =/= racist necessarily.

People will blame the FBI director, but the democratic party needs to look at how they held their primary. Hillary had 400 superdelegates in her pocket before she even announced because the DNC ( Deborah Wasserman Shultz) helped her. They persuaded all the other candidates to not even run and held up those 400 superdelegates to keep guys like Kaine from running this time. And so the only person who entered the race was Bernie who, despite starting with such a huge disadvantage, still did really well against Hillary even though the DNC actively worked against him.

I am not a Bernie supporter and I am not a Hillary hater.. but when there are only two major parties and the DNC annoints Hillary who had 50% unfavorables, this is what is going to happen. As horrible as the Reps are, at least they allowed their voters to vote fairly and didn´t cheat against Trump or steal the nomination away from him.

The people on the losing side get a good reason to complain. Enough of these swing states that get all the attention. Why not just make everyone's vote matter.

Doesn't matter now. Even if she wins, knowing that so many people in the US have such crazy preferences is pretty damning. :/

The rule would likely be a period of recounts and massive griping, but not much ground made on it unless there's something major being covered up. The constitution clearly establishes that the executive is established by electors via the electoral college, not the popular vote.
