It used to be pretty red. Then with the changing demographic and economy (less agriculture and more high tech) it shifted to blue. Now there is a good chance that the Republicans may lose the last few strongholds they have in CA coastal urban areas. Democrats may end up with super majority in CA. Kevin Faulconer will likely be the last white Republicans mayor of San Diego.

It was when the republicans brought in a load of anti-immigrant laws aimed at Hispanics in the 1990's. It turned Hispanics completely against republicans in CA. Now they make up about a third of the population and won't touch republicans. This year will have made the anti-republican loathing even worse.

Ah election day.... only 4 hours more hours till America as we know it ends. 4 more years of Obamacare killing our healthcare system. Its sad that people don't realize what 4 more years of Democrat Policy regarding healthcare is gonna do to our country..... Within 2 years no one with an actual Job will be able to afford healthcare (Premiums have almost tripled for working class people in last 2 years) they will opt out pay the fine then Health Insurance companies will go under because the only one using them will be the welfare people getting it for free. and by the time the next election rolls around the democrats will be the people that killed american healthcare as we know it...

We ought to see real numbers just after 7pm (est). More accurate with literally each passing minute. Probably calling it by 8pm barring something unusual or a very close run.

Interestingly, if FL goes Clinton, Trump might be already out. Not 100%, but mathematically improbable.

My point should be incredibly clear to anyone paying attention. Calling the Democratic primary "fair and square", as the poster that I was speaking to did, ignores the fact the DNC chair had to step down after being proven to assist Hillary, and then also ignores the fact the replacement chair also got caught assisting Hillary unfairly as well. I mean come on...how can it be called "fair and square" after all that news has been broken?

Do I think there was literal voter fraud, who knows? But fairness should extend to the whole process, and the people that agree with me are the ones whose boos forced Debbie Wasserman-Shulz off the stage, and in to her office to write a resignation letter.

If the only standard for fairness left, is legality versus illegality, then Hillary has won more than just an election....

So just had a conversation with my group and I brought up the issue that people vote on referendum questions without actually thinking of the effects.

Someone at our table is then like: "Oh yeah, like that gas tax thing, obviously with our crumbling infrastructure and huge debt we need a tax to make up for it."

Polls close at 7. If things go smoothly, except FL to be called as early as 7:30, 9 at the latest (EST). FL has 2 timezone but most of the population lies in the EST side. If Trump doesn't win FL there is no reason to wait until the rest of the states are decided.
