confused about simming?

so I have a 860 WQ trinket that gives 1353 strength and 960 vers. I just got a 840 FCM and replaced the WQ trinket with it, but when I simmed the difference my dps didn't change it actually went down by like 300? I thought even a 840 FCM was BIS?

My sim shows that vers is even higher than str, so might be possible that the WQ trinket is by a margin better that a 840 FCM.
