they used to, of course, but one assumes the larger economic picture took precedence and botters were given much more lenient penalization. at the same time, blizzard started competing with bot-benefits, such as tokens and instant-max or near-max toons. They only need to make a token system for honor to complete the trinity.

Botting isn't necessarily a bad thing as long as its not hurting other players. Herbing and Mining is not hurting other players.
