Rift 4.0 - Hotfixes

Time for more hotfixes as there's 4 weeks left to go now until 4.1, a bit of good news if you play as a totally F2P players, you can now stack your charges again and run them all in one day or day by day, all in hotfix #19.

RIFT 4.0: Hotfix #19 3/1/2017


GENERAL

* Fixed an exploit that would allow a player to get more legendary than they deserve.
* Non-Patrons can once again have up to 7 charges of Warfront, Dungeon and Chronicle bonuses.
* The daily gift's Starfall Prophecy tokens have no longer drop, and the Maguk Representative has been disabled.


RIFT STORE AND SERVICES

* The prices for all soul and calling packs has been reduced:
- Dream Soul Pack: 1,500 Credits
- Storm Soul Pack: 1,500 Credits
- Primalist Calling Pack: 2,250 Credits
- Ascended Soul Pack: 2,250 Credits
* The following combat pet skins are now available in the RIFT Store under Pets Combat Pet Skins for 800 credits each:
- Pet Skin: Baac Bloodcaller
- Pet Skin: Baac Dreadtrooper
- Pet Skin: Baac Marauder
- Pet Skin: Glitterwing
- Pet Skin: Khadgak
- Pet Skin: Khadlig
- Pet Skin: Shalistiri Spirit
- Pet Skin: Sky Whale
- Pet Skin: Skyhunter
- Pet Skin: Spirit Kite
* Blue Butterfly Wings have been added to the store in Cosmetics > Costume Armor for 500 Credits


FORTRESS SIEGE

* Phase 2 of Cracking Xarth’s Skull now gives 30 minutes to complete, up from 25.


ITEMS

* Warmongering Healing Synergy Crystals are no longer down bolstered in warfronts.

It's almost like this was always a pants-on-head retarded change, despite their attempts to initially spin it as a positive. Probably too late for them to salvage much with it though, especially without messaging this out wide and pairing it with some other player-friendly changes.

Can I actually ask how do you make taking away charges from Non-Patrons sound like a good thing? I can't think of any way possible to even attempt to spin that as a good thing.

I'll just put this disclaimer here.

Trion World's are obviously absolutely desperate at this point for money due to the abomination that is RIFT: Starfall Prophecy.

This is not a price-cut done out of the goodness of their heart. This is pure desperation.

I think those are the things for obtaining Opie? I think I heard in my guild's discord that those would be going away on March 1st.

The Starfall Prophecy Tokens are the tokens you got from logging in daily in your daily box, they allowed you to buy Opie, the minion Opie, some bags, a mystery box etc.

They were supposed to last just 100 days after launch of SP in November but Trion decided to keep it going until yesterday so that was an extra 100 days of tokens, the Maguk Rep is the guy standing near the portals in Meridian, Sanctum and Tempest Bay who sold items for the 5th Anniversary Carnivak event last year but also doubled up as the vendor for the SP Tokens.

As usual the tears starting flowing as players cried about the Rep disappearing, even though he was up for an extra 100 days so he got put back in game for another week.

Seems there was an issue with NA not getting the new lockboxes yesterday (EU got the usual void drake ones) so here's Hotfix #20 to fix it with a chance at a new lockbox mount.

* The Weekly Login Gift for Patrons has been fixed, and when claimed will now include a Moosedantix Supply Crate. This Supply Create is also available on the front page of the store

It's been awhile since Rift last had a hotfix what with 4.1 getting delayed and moving to a bigger building (only saw pics so far from the Atlas Reactor crew, looks tasty) they threw us this one before 4.1 hopefully lands next Wednesday, here's hotfix #21.

RIFT 4.0: Hotfix #21 3/23/2017

GENERAL

* Fixed a bug where players wouldn’t be walking with their mount if they were walking before they mounted.
* Players stay on the shard on which they are playing when they exit a private dungeon into a public instance, rather than their home shard.
* The Starfall Appreciation Trove is no longer being distributed.
* Fixed dimension item selection issues that caused addons to think the wrong items are selected.


RIFT STORE AND SERVICES

* Many weapon skin unlocks for the wardrobe have been added to the store: Cosmetics > Costume Weapons
* The Khadbukh combat pet skin has been added to the store.


ZONES AND EVENTS

* Tooltip added to Condemned Souls, Alavaxian Footdevils, and Penitence Demons when on the quest Let The Hate Flow to indicate the proper mobs to kill for quest credit.

CELESTIAL LANDS

* Onslaughts – Fixed all turret and shield NPCs to no longer attack friendly turrets. Also fixed some Planar Charge Shards having line of sight issues, or not giving planar charges when killed.

SCATHERRAN FOREST

* Quest: Kick the Barrel – Fixed a few of the barrels that would not increment the quest objective when used.


DUNGEONS AND RAIDS

INFERNAL DAWN

* Fixed the text in the achievement, “Battle Prod, to indicate it requires players to defeat Maklamos on Hard Mode.
* Fixed Rusila’s Dread Shot ability to properly give the temp ability. This fixes the achievement, “If You Can Dodge a Wrench”.

HAMMERKNELL FORTRESS

* Decreased the spawn timer for Runic Vengeances in the King Molinar encounter. You should now have a small window of opportunity to kill the bosses before Enrage triggers, while having the required amount of Runic Vengeances spawned.

INTREPID GILDED PROPHECY

* Fixed the achievement “Too Rich to Fail” to now be triggered correctly.

MOUNT SHARAX

* Moved the achievement “Against All Odds” to the Legacy category.

TOK'S PROVING GROUNDS

* Shadi Pinkoo in Tok’s Proving Grounds now has Scoria Lures for sale. This will ensure Scoria fish when fishing in lava!


TRIUMPH OF THE DRAGON QUEEN
* Fixed the achievement, “Superiority Complex”, from being able to be completed before Cyril had cast Mien of Superiority.

MIND OF MADNESS

* The achievement “Hung Jury” should now be granted when the correct conditions are met.
* Fixed the achievement “Between an Arak and a Hard Place” to now be properly awarded under the correct circumstances.

XARTH MIRE

* A Tale of Twilight of the Tuath’de – Quest now pays out the correct notoriety on quest completion.
