    Voidform disables 10% DR?

    I've been reviewing old tweets and stumbled on thing I've missed previously:

    Yes, sacrificing the 10% physical damage reduction when entering Voidform is intentional.
    So, err, combined with spell damage nerf and considering that it is our goal to be outside VF as few seconds as possible: all we got in 7.1 is duty to press new button so we won't get 10% DPS penalty?
    Garrison Mission Manager: Select best followers for BfA, Legion and WoD missions.
    Instance Spec: Switch to spec suitable for your role when "dungeon ready" pops up.
    LDB: WoW Token: Monitor WoW Token price changes in LDB display.
    Other addons: Quest Map with Details * LFG Filter for Premade Groups * Obvious Mail Expiration.

    Shadowform was added mostly because of whines that people can't see their transmog through the shadow aura.

    I do agree that it's fucking dumb that Voidform cancels the 10% damage reduction. Though in raids it won't affect you very much since it's only physical damage reduction.

    Shadowform was added back to improve out of voidform damage and give you physical damage reduction in PvP. It's intended that when you go into voidform you lost the damage reduction, but gain 20% more damage. It's a tradeoff.

    But they nerfed everything by 10% when we got shadowform so we didn't gain anything out of voidform aside 10% PhysDR. The 10% Shadow Damage on SF was literally to stop people not using it when in combat, class fantasy n all that.

    It's a stupid tradeoff, since we have NO way to get away from melees, and melee having 100% uptime on you is hard to deal with, both for your healer and trying to put out counter pressure.

    And they didn't even give us back the old one which was a stance that could be activated while mounted, the new one dismounts us.

    Yes. It's bad design.

    They really should change it back to how it worked before--a stance--now you get dismounted when you activate it and it does not persist through death anymore.
