Site loading troubles.

So since yesterday afternoon the site has been abnormally slow.

Pages will fail to load entirely sometimes, and images (such as avatars and the "reply-with-quote chat bubble looking thing) will not load and only display the generic image icon.

I've also been getting DNS not found errors. This is the only site that does that, any idea?

Is the site having trouble?

Yeah, I noticed this all day today as well.

They keep sneaking through.

As well as the icons next to quote/multiquote etc aren't seeming to want to load.

The ads that got through were taking up a lengthy time to load for me aswell, really slowed the site down. Discord recommended "uBlock origin", works like a charm.

There was an issue that would have caused that earlier today, but it should be fixed now. Is it still a problem?

Forum Filters keep resetting, even after deleting Chrome cache. Also ads randomly poping up from nowhere/some forum avatars not loading.

All the ads keep showing up, even with ad block, and even when they're blocked, the spaces where they were still remain there, and sometimes will load slowly after a long time.

There's a reason most of us use ad block here, its because the site is inundated with terrible ads that make the site run slower than it already does.

Yeah I get this too. The site, on occassion, loads very slowly or incorrectly and ads are showing up. German scam ads even.

Yup AdBlock hasn't been good enough lately. Wowhead, Diabofans and now MMO-Champ have a new type of add that can bypass Adblock and they take forever to load. Getting uBlock origin fixes that problem for me as well.

Yeah wowhead was suffering from the same horrible slow loading ads, like others are saying, uBlock Origin will fix that problem.

Well, this is slightly different although I've had the same problems as others. I was browsing through some things and was suddenly and inexplicably logged out. I logged back in again but there was no reason to be logged out moving from one thread to another in the mod forum.

As well, avatar doesn't load properly, some icons for reply, quote, etc. aren't always loading. And the problem becomes more acute when replying to something. About half the time my front page forum filters aren't working either. A refresh usually puts them right but there's something going on with initializing the page. Feels very creaky.

EDIT: Forum filters are being reset. I've set them three times in half an hour. Seems to be a kind of off-and-on thing. Maybe something on the server-side cookies. Latest post read seems OK (for now).

THAT started happening today to me as well.

That being the logging out. The icons/av issue still persists even though I'm using the origin plugin.

I also received a pop up like I got a message and it had something like [object] [Object] and some jibberish. I'll take a ss if I see it again.

Just had an ad try to install something on my computer through 2 ad block programs, and a pop-up blocker, and it only started today. Not sure what you changed, but it is not cool.

Ads can't install software on their own. A screenshot and URLs would be helpful in tracking down any bad ads.

Yeah I'm getting randomly logged out too now.

I donno what's happening with the site but something strange is occurring.

Also now not able to see my avatar, and the button images for "reply/reply with quotes/multi-quote/ect" are also broken.
