It does, crows takes a moment to begin ticking so it's still getting the benefit of bestial wrath and you're not spending the GCD to apply it during bestial wrath when you can maximise kill commands, dire beast procs and cobra shots (assuming you take killer cobra).

Use KC before DB on pull. Why? Because Hati is a slow lazy dog and will take forever to get on the boss unless you use KC.

A couple additional things to do to improve BM opener:
1. Make sure you are not max range, stand like 20-25 yards from the boss. Why? Again, Hati is retarded and at max range he can't reach the boss so your pet will KC but Hati won't. You'll just sit there and watch Hati waddle over.
2. Don't have to press BW/AotW immediately after Crows, use it immediately before casting KC so u can get an extra second from both buffs.

Make a pet attack macro on AmoC so Hati gets into range by the time you have popped CD's > DB> titans thunder>KC>CS ?

That's the way I read it. Do AmoC then pop your CD's which are off the GCD pets should be in range so cast KC, cast DB at which point AmoC starts ticking with the BW damage buff. then Titans Thunder as you have a DB out then KC CS KC CS KC ( if you have taken Killer Cobra ofc ) and weave in DB procs.

If you have the legendary boots as well it almost forms a rotation for a while.

Only got the ring so far that gives your pets all the specs. Though I need to look up that more as it says Tenacity w/o thunderstomp. Just need to look up more on why for both.

I got the wrists and feet and the generic legs. So pretty lucky with regards to legendary drops although i'd love that Apex ring <3

While I know it's probably not the best (think I saw it was like #2?) it's pretty decent. I just wish I could aoe pull packs outside without my pet barely surviving (farming stormscale on Azshara island)

Yea blizz made pets especially squishy in Legion, it is just silly how easy they die, our mend pet barely heals them, it bugs me. I must say for worl content I use the ghoscrawler crab that spawned in vasjir, so it has the spirit mend aswell, keeps him alive a bit longer.

Yeah, I've tried the turtle with the shield and ones with spirit mend. Every time I go out farming for stormscale I keep flipping through talents, glyphs and seeing what else I could use with no avail. Even the talent that reduces damage taken on kill command doesn't help much (last tier).

DoTs do not snapshot anymore. The buff suppose to be per tick, it is easy to check tough: cast crows on the dummy while not using any proc item, let it tick 4 times then use BW and let it tick some more. See if the damage of the ticks under BW is higher then those without.

To be fair, Crows hasn't snapshotted since it came out. Almost no Hunter dots have.

On the opener you do not cast DB before you used KC.
You also delay your AotW by a global or two. The reason is that you will cap focus if you do it otherwise.

I think he is trying to say that using Dire Beast before Bestial Wrath means that you miss out on the Cool Down Reduction that Dire Beasts gives to Bestial Wrath.

If you go Crows >Dire Beast > Titan's Thunder > Aspect of The Wild > Bestial Wrath> Kill Command > Cobra Shot at this point Bestial Wrath still has about 1 min 27 secs left on the CD.

I you go Crows > Aspect of The Wild > Bestial Wrath> Dire Beast >Titan's Thunder >Kill Command >Cobra Shot instead the Bestial Wrath has about 1 min 12 secs left on CD and you have used up the exact same amount of time.

Underlined abilities are all off the Global Cool Down and can be used between abilities.

I think most sensible hunter players do like him for his job with the guides and for the fact that he calls out bullshit.
The advice given was bad. The person giving it had no idea how to play his/her class. Simple as that.
